THE Maesmawr Hall Restaurant specialises in freshly cooked food using local produce. A La Carte and Bar menus are available and vegetarian or special dietary requirements can be catered for on request. As well as catering for hotel guests, the Restaurant is open to the public 7 days a week.

The comprehensive menu changes on a daily basis. Supported by a varied wine list, the aim is to offer outstanding dining at a sensible price.

Present owners, Tim and Matthew Lewis, bring to the Maesmawr Hall Restaurant their flair, imagination and uncomprimising commitment to the finest quality food.

Monkfish Wrapped in Pancetta
pan fried in olive oil, served with a chive and lemon sauce

Loin of Welsh Lamb
roasted with a garlic and herb crust, served on a shrewsbury sauce

Breast of Barbary Duck
pan fried, served with roasted pine nuts and an apricot and redcurrant sauce

Fillet of Pork
wrapped in smoked bacon, served on a wholegrain mustard sauce

Medallions of Beef
slices of prime fillet stead in a mushroom and tarragon sauce

Sirloin Steak
topped with cracked pepper, garlic or parsley butter

Roasted Vegetable & Saffron Rice Gratin
saffron rice and roast vegetables, grilled with parmesan and cheddar cheese
